What I plan on buyin at H.T.

I am going to go tonight ( after hubby brings the car home from work) and get some good deals. I have noticed more and more people shopping with coupons for deals and buy the time I go Friday all the good deals are gone.
I am going to buy Lysol they have their bathroom cleaners, all purpose cleaner and toilet cleaner BOGO Free. I have coupons for the Toilet cleaner $.50 off, this should make $.49 for two..I have $1 off all purpose cleaners .. it is ringing up $1.74 each.. so I should pay $1.48 for 2
Febreeze air effects are $2 I have $1 coupons .. these smell so good!!
Thomas english muffins are $1.49 each( bogo so they ring up half price) I have $1 coupons so I will pay $.49 each
Quaker granola bars are $2.50 each I have $.75 /2 so I should pay $3.50 for 2

Quaker breakfast bars are $2.50.. I have a $.60 coupon.. so that should be $1.30
Dannon Fusion drinks are $.80 I have a $1/4 so this should make it $1.40 for 4
The chex mix is on sale BOGO -- The Dark chocolate is $3.28.. I have coupons for $.50 so if I use 2 coupons they should ring up $1.28 for 2
I also plan to get the ice cream.. B2 G3 free( this is H.T. brand)
I will go back friday to get the shrimp( Bo G2

My great trips today.. CVS and Walgreens

I went to 2 CVS's..
1st CVS bought:
1 colgate max white toothpaste..
1 Irish spring body wash
2 Dove conditioners
1 Dove Body wash.
1 pantene detangler
2 pantene shampoo/conditioner
1 Rite guard deodorant.. after coupons and ECB's my OOP was $1.88
2nd CVS trip
2 cristophe hair cair products @ $7.99 each
2 Rite Guard Deodorants
after coupons and ECBs out of pocket was around $4.68
Got back from the 2 trips.. $22 in ECB's to use again
Walgreens..
in 3 trips I bought...
3 reach toothbrushes, 3 reach floss, 3 listerine mouthwashes, 3 dove deodorant 1 dove body wash, 12 dove soaps.
1st trip my oop was $11.94 got back $16 in RR
second trip used gift card no oop and got back $16 in RR
third trip my oop was $5.61 got back $6 in RR
I did good today.

OFF to the Flea Market......... for fresh Produce..

In N.C. it is nothing like N.Y.C. that I grew up in. In the city I would go to the corner fruit stand to get my produce, different areas of N.Y.C. have different items, and since I have been gone I am sure it is way different. When I was in my late teens , I lived in an Italian neighborhood and I remember one of the produce stands having all these strange looking things, which I now know was Fava beans, white eggplants, and other things I can't think of at the moment. My mother worked in a fruit market in a Jewish area when I was a child and there they had rice cakes, lots of dried fruits and nuts.
Here in N.C. I have found the best place to get tropical produce is at the flea market near bye. They are open Saturday and Sunday, but I love to go late Friday afternoon when a few produce stands start selling their wares early. I can get a box of Mangos for $12, fresh Papaya, dried chilis
Since being married to my husband I have learned to appreciate foods I knew nothing about and use them in my cooking. Tonight I hope to find.. Mangos, Papaya, mini bananas( aka. apple bananas), garlic, red onions, green bananas, green onions( aka scallions), dried chipotle chili, cucumbers, carrots. I can come away with a egg carton full of vegetables/fruits for $25 to me that is a deal.
